Rev. Tim Ridgway

Reverend Timothy (Tim) Alan Ridgway became Pastor of Rocky Mount Baptist Church on December 22nd, 2002.

Tim was born on July 29th, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Boca Raton High School in Boca Raton, Florida in June of 1977. He received his Batchelor's of Arts degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 1983. Tim is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he received his Master of Arts in 1989.

Tim has also served as Pastor of Preston Baptist Church in Preston Georgia and as Minister of Education and Youth in Florida, Hawaii, and Georgia.

Tim has had opportunity to serve in the mission field as a North American Board Missionary. He has served as a Resort Summer Missionary at Neptune Baptist Church in Neptune Beach Florida and as Director of Resort Ministries (US-2 Missionary) for the Suncoast Baptist Association in Largo, Florida.

Other ministry opportunities include: Sheriff's Department Chaplain, Webster County; Boys Summer Camp Director, Friendship Baptist Association, Americus, Georgia; and Discipleship Training Program Director, Central Leeward Oahu Baptist Association, Oahu, Hawaii.

Tim married the former Janice (Jan) Lyn Fisher on July 20, 1985. Tim and Jan have two sons, Matthew and Andrew.
