Who We Are...

Our Beliefs
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis for our beliefs. In addition, we subscribe to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message, as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963, and amended in 2000. You can read the contents of this statement HERE.



Our Mission
Jesus’ mission is our mission. When we consider Jesus’ life and mission, our purpose in life, both individually as a believer and corporately as a church, becomes clear. Jesus’ desire was to glorify God and therefore that should be our desire (Jn. 13:31; 17:4). How do we accomplish this? Since Christ glorified God through His life it only reasons that we glorify God by living the Christ-life (Galatians 2:20). Therefore, our purpose is clear: to glorify God by living the Christ-life!



Our Values
Our core values are easily remembered by the formula, W4C, which stands for the following:
The WORSHIP of God…we passionately love God and therefore seek intimacy with God (Mt. 22:36-38). Our strategy includes: Worship Service, Prayer Service, Home Groups, and a Personal Quiet Time.

The WORD of God…we equip members to grow and mature in their faith (Eph. 4:11-15; 1 Pet. 2:2). Our strategy includes: Discipleship (Sunday School, Wednesday classes), Worship Service, Home Groups, and Music Ministries.

The WORK of God…we ask each member to join us in ministry for the Lord by using their spiritual gifts and personal resources (Eph. 4:11-12; Rom. 12:11). This includes giving of our time, talents, treasure and temple. Our strategy includes: Ministry Opportunities, Service Opportunities, and Giving Opportunities.

A WITNESS for God…we passionately love God and compassionately love others; therefore, we passionately live out and share the gospel of Jesus Christ (Mt. 22:39; 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). Our strategy includes: Outreach Opportunities, Missions Education and Involvement, and Lifestyle Evangelism

COMMUNITY...we strengthen one another through growing meaningful relationships with one another (Mt. 22:39; 1 Cor. 12:26; Acts 2:44-47). Our strategy includes: Discipleship (Sunday School, Wednesday classes), Home Groups, and Music Ministries.
