Missions Involvement

Participation

We believe that every Christian is a missionary and as a missionary we actively participate in missions through praying, going (making disciples), and giving. We pray for those who are un-churched and who are in need of Christ. We pray for missionaries who are serving God in North America and across the globe. We make disciples by intentionally reaching out to those who are in need of Christ in our own Jerusalem (Carroll County) and partnering with missionaries who are serving in Judea (Georgia), Samaria (United States), and the ends of the earth (international missions). See Partnerships.

We give of our financial resources to minister to those in need, sharing the love and shining the light of Jesus. We give of our financial resources to support the work of Southern Baptist missionaries who are being the hands and feet of Jesus in North America and around the world. In addition to giving of our financial resources, we give of our time and talents to serve and support the work of missions (i.e., SPLASH!, Music Camp, community projects, short-term mission trips, Operation Christmas Child, backpack program, etc.). Beginning each April and running through the end of October, we minister weekly at a local apartment complex and mobile home park offering Solid Rock Bible Clubs for children and teens, ESL classes for teens and adults, and an Adult Bible Study. Partnerships

In addition to our one-on-one participation, we also partner and participate with other missions agencies and ministries to fulfill our God-given mission to go and make disciples. Some of these ministries include the following:

Prayer and Partnership

We have partnered with the Carrollton Baptist Association in adopting an unreached people group (UPG), the Makian Timur of Indonesia. Please join us in praying for these people and that God would send workers into this harvest. You can learn more about the Makian Timur at the Joshua Project by Clicking Here
